Sounds to me as though Microsoft is trying to set it up so that Xbox Live users won't have to pay a monthly subscription on top of their Xbox Live membership. In all honesty, that's the only way I'd buy an MMO for my 360. I don't think any game is worth paying that amount of money for, even though I'm a huge LoTR fan (hence the avatar ;)).
I'm just hoping that those monthly subscriptions are non-existent for the 360 version.
That's a pretty bad April Fools' Day gag, because I actually want that class in the game!
I was excited until I saw 'Target Render' in the bottom corner of the screen.
As a 360 owner I'd like to agree with you, but after Intel bought Project Offset the possibility of a 360 version pretty much vanished altogether. It's unlikely that Intel will enter the console market anytime soon, so you're likely to be disappointed if you're hoping for a 360 version.
Looks like I might have to fork out major bucks to get a high-end PC.
Oh my goodness.
I think a little bit of wee just came out.
Disagree all you want, but that was seriously underwhelming.
Wait, was the 'big' announcement meant to be the COD: MW2 trailer? Oh dear... that's tragic.
I bet it runs best on the Wii...
Something tells me this trailer was made by Treyarch...
BAHAHAHAHAHA!
Singleplayer DLC would just be incredible. I mean, I'm generally against DLC - I've never purchased any form of DLC to date - but I'd have no choice but to buy singleplayer DLC for Gears of War 2.
What could the singleplayer DLC be though? I'm thinking that it could be the Pendulum Wars, the 6 months in between Gears of War 1 and Gears of War 2, or an epilogue.
A Perfect Dark sequel would be awesome.

Enough of da teasin', more wid da pleasin' man!
That's pretty shocking, as Bethesda's games are almost always as polished as can be. Sure, games such as Oblivion and Fallout 3 have a few small bugs - it's expected when you consider how massive both thos games are - but 'broken'? I'm pretty surprised.
Viva Pinata 3: Empire Strikes Back!
Although, I suppose some Alan Wake info and new game announcements will do.
I've always wanted a post-apocalyptic style game where you DIDN'T use guns. I admire the risk Ubisoft is taking with this, and I hope it pays off.
Either way, I'm very interested.
LOL. I love how the article implies that the guitar itself was making all the noise. All he had to do was turn the volume down on his TV...
I want to see Project Offset!
But U2 suck. This is a rubbish observation!
- Fix the levelling system
- Set it in a new region
- Make the combat a little bit more robust
- Introduce consequences/moral choices
- Horseback combat
- Epic battles
- Diverse caves/dungeons
- Improve interaction between NPCs
- Improve the graphics (to 'keep up' with the competition)
- Improve the effectiveness of projectiles
- Try and improve the narrative of the main quest (I thought the story was great, but the real-ti...
